Forgotten Crossroads – Hollow Knight Walkthrough

Forgotten Crossroads have a number of caverns and roads that are located right under the surface. There are many caves that are covered with insect fossils and yellow ferns grow in the cracks in the ground
Once you reach at the Forgotten Crossroads, you need to move towards left and reach the cavern that is located near chained platforms.
Tip
Remember, the Grubfather’s home is right in front of you. Visit often after rescue Grub throughout the game.
Meet Carnifer
Head down through the chamber. Now jump down the floor and move towards right to meet Carnifer, the game’s cartographer. You’ll meet him in every major area in the Hollow Knight mobile apk where can buy a map of that location from him. At this location, you can purchase the map of Forgotten Crossroads for 30 GEO.
Iselda – The Shopkeeper
From here, go back immediately to Dirtmouth. Cornifer’s wife Iselda has opened a new shop there. You will find some very useful items. Buy the Quill from her for 120 Geo. When the Knight sits on a bench holding the Quill, the map of each area will update automatically.
Tip
One important thing: make sure to buy the Wayward Compass from Cornifer’s wife for 220 Geo. This will allow you to see yourself on the map. Hollow Knight is a huge game, and if you want to collect every item, spell, or mask shard, this purchase is essential.
You will also find many other items from Iselda that will be incredibly helpful during the game. For example, you can buy markers from her. These markers will help you mark hot springs, windows, and benches on your map. If you want to get the most out of your map, it’s essential to save your Geo.
Discover Stagway Station
Now, go back to the Forgotten Crossroads. Pass by Cornifer and head down the shaft. From there, move to the right and continue on this path until you reach the top. Here, you will see different paths. Go up to the first room on your left and discover the Stagway Station of the Forgotten Crossroads.
From the station, you can now travel using the Stag. Pay 50 Geo and unlock the bell. This will call the Stag to you. The Stagway network is the fastest way to travel in Hallownest. Make sure to find and unlock each station.
Unlock the entrance to Dirtmouth from the Stagway Station and use the Stag for your return trip. Go back to the station and use the Stagway to reach the top of the shaft. Here, you will see a lever. Pull it to unlock the paths leading to the upper part of the Forgotten Crossroads.
Black Egg Temple
In Dirtmouth, if you head northeast, you will find the Temple of the Black Egg near the well. This area is controlled by two bosses who are constantly fighting. You might also get into a fight here. The Grubfather’s home, Grubhome, is also located in this area.
Path to Crystal Peak
South of this area, behind a breakable wall, is Brooding Mawlek, another boss in the Hollow Knight. To the east, there are two paths to Crystal Peak, where Myla is mining crystals on the upper path. This area also connects by Tram to the Resting Grounds.
Rescue Sly
In the center of the Forgotten Crossroads is the boss False Knight. The Ancestral Mound is to the west. In the south, there is a Hot Spring. East of the Hot Spring is the Gruz Mother, sleeping in a church. Salubra, the Charm merchant, is in the southeast. Nearby, in an abandoned village, Sly can be rescued from one of the houses.
